I got this to improve my posture because I was starting to notice a "hump" on the back of my neck, and besides the occasional feeling of pain & tension in my neck, my self confidence went down because I was starting to look like a hunchback, or at least I was thinking that. Took a bit to figure out the controls and read that you should dampen the heaters before using. I got it because over the past two years, I have lost most feeling in both arms, shoulders, most of my head and upper torso (it is a numbness that is hard to explain).
