I am not sure but I tested it with an ohm meter while it was plugged in and it read a resistance of between 11 and 13, I assume that means it's doing what it should, so that being said, I used it for the first time last night and for the first time in a good long time my shoulders were so much less stiff and my right thumb was t throbbed, so even if it's a placebo I am happy!

I have been using this sheet for at least a month and have noticed a major difference and my muscles and nerves. I have fibromyalgia and I am 64. I have found that my muscle pain has subsided and my stiffness has subsided from using this sheet. I had extreme muscle spasms and they are releasing after all these years. I would suggest this to others being that it's very reasonable organic and it's worth trying to see if you get relief for whatever issues you have. I am not sure what it's doing for the other parts of my body as far as organs or what not but I am happy that I am able to get relief. I never had relief from any drugs or any help from any doctors even chiropractors. I have been able to get relief from massage therapy more so than anything but this sheet has alleviated a lot of muscle spasms and nerve pain.

I have this sheet since over a year and use it on a daily basis. I have tested the sheet with a multimeter and it works perfectly fine. It does what it supposed to do, it grounds. This is an update to my original review...After sleeping on this sheet for a week I noticed I was sleeping better. Falling asleep faster and, when I got up in the night, I fell back to sleep faster. It seems I am less sore and stiff in the mornings and maybe even during the day, which would indicate it is working to reduce inflammation in my body. One side effect, I think I have noticed, is that I wake up with a mild headache that goes away in minutes after I get up. Don't know if that's related or not, but it's not a deal breaker.

This is the second earthing sheet I have purchased. My husband and I do feel like we sleep better and have fewer body aches when we get up. Recently, we noticed we weren't sleeping as well. I was excited to try this. And while it’s not very attractive, more importantly, it is effective!
I had an electrician verify the conductivity before I used it, so I know it’s not just the placebo effect.
The only reason I don’t give it five stars, is because it just reached to the edges of my mattress. It’s a queen size 60 x 80, and it fits quite well.
Overall very well worth it for the improved sleep quality!

I Am a Believer in this product! I bought this for my travel trailer bed because although my mattress is my favorite brand, it didn't leave me rested. I tossed and turned, and when I finally landed on my back, it was very sore if I laid there long. After laying this crosswise on the bed so it would stay tucked in, (weird size mattress) that very first night with this sheet across my bed, I laid on my back for over an hour, without pain on getting up!
Not sure if it was my mind playing tricks, I waited until today to post my review, and I can say with conviction that this grounding sheet makes a world of difference in how much better I sleep now. So much so that I also ordered the pillowcase. I highly recommend this!

✓Don't put your charging phone on the bed
So at first glance was disappointed with how thin it is and and how narrow it is along with the tiniest grounding wire, but I got very restful calm sleep the first few nights of using it. On the third night or so I started getting a sensation of what felt like fiberglass prickling my back, so uncomfortable I had to abandon the grounding sheet, it tried a few more times and it kept happening so I finally stopped using it all together assuming maybe the tiny silver wires were coming apart or something, I haven’t it used it for at least a week or more but just now I made an amazing discovery! It’s still on my bed and I laid down with my phone in hand and had my elbow laying on the wadded up sheet and the sensation returned, I put my phone down to move the sheet but then suddenly it stopped! With a bit of testing I’ve found that if my iPhone is plugged in and charging with no case on the phone that I’m am getting tiny electrical shocks from the current going into my phone, specially if I hold the back or edges of the phone. I have now tested this with a google pixel phone and had a much lighter but similar effect, beware what is around you or touching you as all kinds of things have these things effects that we just don’t see or feel! For reference I did not use the grounding plug for the wall but have the mat wired directly to a grounding rod outside. Good luck! I hope this information helps someone else as well!

It took several nights to get used to this year. For the first week I kept waking up every hour or two. Wondering if that was my body adjusting. Now I sleep fine. It's long enough to drape on the upper half of a king size bed or use lengthwise on a twin. For me i sometimes wake un in the morning and see it moved around maybe due to the fact that I have a dog that sleeps with me. It's long enough to tuck under the edges. Select the "USA Plug" option. This option does not come with an adaptor. This is because our grounding wire is designed to plug directly into the bottom hole of your socket, which is the grounding socket, without the need for an adaptor.

Can I put a regular sheet over the grounding sheet?
For optimal results, Grounding works best when your bare skin directly contacts the grounded GroundingWell products.
While some of the Earth's energy can pass through thin layers if there is moisture present, skin contact remains the most effective method (even just a fingertip can work in nature).
We advise against using another sheet on top of the Grounding sheet, as it may interfere with conductivity. Rest assured, our Grounding sheets are designed to be highly comfortable for sleeping, and regular washing is recommended to ensure the best results.
Can I wear pyjamas while sleeping on the grounding sheet?
Indeed, you can wear pajamas while sleeping on GroundingWell sheets. While direct skin contact optimizes the grounding benefits, it's not necessary to sleep naked on the sheet. Comfortable pajamas or sleepwear are perfectly fine as long as there are body parts in direct contact with the sheet, such as arms, legs, or feet.

How do I wash my grounding sheets?
Your Hugterra™ sheets contain silver thread which is naturally antibacterial and odor resistant. This means it will require less washing than regular sheets. However, it is important to keep the sheets clean from sweat and natural skin oils to preserve its conductivity.

- Hand wash recommended, or machine wash on gentle cycle
- Use cold water only
- Line dry your sheets or use a dryer on low heat if needed.
- Iron only when necessary on low heat.
- Wait for one hour after applying lotions or body oils before touching the sheets.
DON'Ts:
- Do not wash with bleach or fabric softener.
- Avoid using whitening detergents or oxi-detergents.
- Do not use detergents containing oils such as lavender or coconut oil.
- Avoid using dryer sheets.
- Do not apply lotions or body oils on your skin right before bed.
